Abstract
This study discusses the war, education and peace in Aceh. The main issue in this study is on how social interactions and secondary socialization processes in educational institutions in the community who experience a change after the war in Aceh. The war in Aceh has sued the stabitity of social institutions, one of which institutions are exposed to the negative impact of the war. One of the negative impact of the war is on social interaction between students with students, students with teachers in the era of the early years of war and peace.
When the situation in Aceh has been conducive conditions began to change social interaction. This study was undertaken to find out and identified the social interaction in educational institutions the war era and the era of peace and development has been achieved in the education sector in the post-war in East Aceh, Aceh Province, Indonesia. The war between the Free Aceh Movement (GAM) with the lndonesian government ended after both sides agreed to a peace agreement signed in Helsinki Finland.
