Abstract
A Study on the effect of attractant addition on food intake was carried out on Asian Sea bass (Lates calcarifer). Three types of attractant extract (blood cockle, giant tiger shrimp and mixed of blood cockle and giant tiger shrimp) were applied into commercial pellet per kg diet. Five fish of the 60 fish with the average body weight 65 g was distributed into twelve feeding experiment plot with the three replicate in each treatment. The results suggested that attractant addition into the Asian Seabass diet provide a significant effect on the food intake, with the highest total food intake was recorded in the blood cockle extract addition.
