Abstract

The policy considering legal protection to domestic workers have been made between Indonesia and Malaysia through Memorandum of Understanding. However, this does not show the improvement, yet. This research analysed legal protection contained in MoU 2006 and Protocol Amandment 2011 concerning the Recruitment and Placement of Indonesia Domestic Workers in Malaysia. The research shows that the MoU 2006 and its Amandment do not protect the workers comprehensively, specifically in human rights protection.
