Abstract

This study aims to assess the impact or effect of inflation on economic growth in the of Lhokseumawe and North Aceh district. The Method used is a simple regression model, with secondary data (Time Series) from year 1981-2012. The results of the study in the city of Lhokseumawe found that increases in inflation have a negative impact on economic growth of 14.9 percent. Furthemore, it was found that the rise in inflation was also negatively impact economic growth in North Aceh district, at 13.9 percent Keywords: inflation, economic growth
