Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the effect of labour (input variable) and capital of agricultural sector toward the output of agricultural sector in Indonesia. Indonesia to this research is to identity the effects of wage, output and capital of agricultural factor toward the supply of labour in agricultural factor. Time series data was used by this research and the hypothesis was tested by implemented the cobb-douglas production function model with two stage squares method (2 SLS). The result showed that the labour and capital variable affeet the output of agricultural sector in Indonesia. The variable of wage, output and capital affect the labour demand as well as the wage affect the labour supply in agricultural factor. The implication of this research is agricultural sector in Indonesia need the increasing of investment in order to have the other input variable worked optimally.
