Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to determine the dose C.odorata effective green manure on the growth and production of broccoli and nutrient total N, available P and available K remaining in the soil planting broccoli. The research randomized block design (RBD) non factorial with seven treatments and three replications consisting of : C0 (control), C1 (C. odorata 1 ton ha-1 equivalent 25 kg N ha-1), C2 (C. odorata 2 ton ha-1 equivalent 50 kg N ha-1), C3 (C. odorata 3 ton ha-1 equivalent 75 kg N ha-1), C4 (C. odorata 4 ton ha-1 equivalent 100 kg N ha-1 ), C5 (C. odorata 5 t ha-1 equivalent 125 kg N ha-1) and C6 (C. odorata 6 ton ha-1 equivalent 150 kg N ha-1). Observations broccoli growth was measured at 28 dap, 35 dap, 42 dap, 49 dap, 56 dap and weighed production when the plant is harvested. Observations nutrient total N,available P and available K in the ground layer of top soil 0-20 cm before treatment and after harvest. The results showed that the application of C. odorata green manure can increase growth and yield of broccoli significan. Giving C. odorata green manure doses of 6 ton ha-1 equivalent 150 kg N ha-1 fresh weight mass produce interest at 16400,00 kg ha-1 equivalent 16,40 ton ha-1. While elements of total N, available P and available K the higher the dose the higher the left in the ground except for nutrient total N a decline. Keywords: broccoli, green manure, C. odorata, dose
