Abstract
The purpose of this research to analyze the effect of debt to equity ratio, current ratio, return on assets and asset growth to the dividend payout ratio partially.The samples used in
this research are 22 companies listed in LQ-45 201 0-201 2 with purposive sampling technique. The method used to analyze the relation between independent variable and dependent variable
was multiple linear regression analysis and classical assumption test. The result shows that debt to equity ratio have significant negative effect on dividend payout ratio with a
significance level of 0.001 , the current ratio does not affect on dividend payout ratio with a
significance level of 0.734, return on asset have significant positive effect to dividend payout
ratio with a significance level of 0.01 5, and the asset growth does not affect on dividend payout ratio with a significance level of 0.403. Expected for further researcher to develop
other factors that may affect the dividend payout ratio as managerial ownership variable,
institutional ownership, sales growth, firm size, etc.
