Abstract

Protection for workers is very important, especially when facing risks that might occur such as workplace accidents. To protect workforce safety, occupational safety, and health effort was carried out, the effort was with the social security program organized by BPJS, even though the social security program had been designed since 1992, it turns out there are still workers who are not registered in the BPJS program, one of which is at the Lido Graha Hotel Cunda Lhokseumawe. The aim of this research is an analysis of the form of protection given to workers who have work accidents that have not been registered in the BPJS program by the Lido Graha Cunda Lhokseumawe Hotel and the factors inhibiting the fulfillment of obligations towards workers who have experienced work accidents that have not been registered in the BPJS program by the Lido Graha Cunda Lhokseumawe Hotel and what efforts are being made by the Government to companies for workers who have work accidents that are not registered with BPJS. The research method used in this paper is an empirical juridical research method with the legislation approach and fact approach. The results of this study are a form of protection provided for workers who have suffered work accident that has not been registered in the BPJS program are preventive protection measures by the form of protection provided for workers who have suffered work accidents that have not been registered in the BPJS program are preventive protection measures by providing clinics for treatment and repressive protection measures by providing medical assistance for workers who have had work accidents that have not been registered in BPJS. Obstacles to the fulfillment of obligations by the hotel are workers who have not taken care of the lost return ID card. Daily workers who are only contracted for three months and are not necessarily extended, workers who do not want to register for the BPJS program due to the short contract period, workers who do not know about BPJS.
