Abstract

Nowadays, e-Learning becomes a necessity in every university, because it can help the access of a scholar in making an interaction to his university. Beside, it will increase the competitiveness of the university. In optimizing e-Learning system, the research must be done by evaluating its use. This research was proposed to evaluate the use of eLisa e-Learning system Gadjah Mada University by using Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) which was introduced by David, and to process the data, the survey used software Partial Least Square (PLS) to measure the user’s perception towards eLisa e-Learning whether it runs based on its function or not. The data which had been obtained was the primary data by using the questionnaires to the lecturers who used eLisa e-Learning actively, that consisted of some faculties and departments. The variables were the perceived easy, perceived benefit, attitude and interest toward using the technology, and actual use of technology. The survey result showed that the eLisa users, especially the lecturers have not yet used or utilized this e-Learning as an online learning media. The inhibiting factor in utilizing it was the usability one, in which the users have not really felt or utilized this e-Learning maximum, so there was an impact on the lack of value of eLisa actual use as an online learning media. Keywords : e-Learning, eLisa, TAM.
