Abstract

The main component is a green business companies pick business profile through a friendly business environment, reducing the use of materials and material costs as well as reduce dependence on energy usage. The purpose of this paper is to explain the conceptual classification of green business and the factors that drive green business in various business sectors of government, private, and without having to distinguish the size of the company. Ernst and Young (2008) categorizes there are 3 types of categories, namely: Companies that are traditional activities that produce environmental goods and services (environmental goods and services). Companies that move to step change their products or processes to suistanability (green companies/enterprises). And all the companies that stepped up to improve process efficiency and brand image. While the factors that drive green business is the pressure and the global environmental awareness, acceptance or demands of the capital market, the market demand for particular products that clean tech product, creating a friendly environment with the market and the extra financial support for clean tech companies.
