Abstract

The development of information and communication technologies to further facilitate the processing, storage and distribution of information. Convenience aspect is apparently obtained by a factor inversely proportional confidentiality, and availability. Therefore, by using the encoding that aims to maintain the confidentiality of information from unauthorized access. Methods Hill cipher is one of the symmetric-key cryptography method. In this study of cryptographic algorithms Hill Cipher Wills be combined with Mp3 based steganography pusing LSB methods do improve data security. The software is built using Visual Basic 6.0 programming language. The results of the encryption process is in the form of symbols that are difficult to understand, whereas the results for the decryption process is the original text before it is encrypted. In this study there is additional capacity for the size of mp3 files cipher text, but does not affect the audio quality of the Mp3 file before and after processing.
