Abstract

Privileges and specificity of Aceh have ups and downs in the course of the constitutional republic of Indonesia, under Article 18B of the 1945 Constitution can be mentioned that the region of Aceh and Aceh is a special privilege. Special region that is associated with territorial privileges in the fields of religion, custom, and education scholars as stipulated in Law no. 44 In 1999, while the specific areas related to governance, as stipulated in Law no. 11, 2006 (previously set role in Law. 18 of 2001) by the Aceh because there are 2 (two) designation is a special area and special area, so the name can be mentioned as an area of Aceh special special region of Aceh province.
